Michelle is between Los Angeles, Park City, and Palm Beach and has over 30 years experience in real estate working with fund managers, public and private REITs, operators and institutional investors. Prior to forming CrossCon, she was head of capital raising for the Macquarie Real Estate Group. Michelle has been a Managing Director at Bear Stearns where she led origination, due diligence and capital raising efforts for third party real estate managers. She launched her career with Kenneth Leventhal in 1991, and has held senior positions at SL Green Realty as Head of Investor Relations, Citigroup Property Investors where she assisted in launching one of the first real estate fund of funds and Ernst and Young where she co-developed the Private Equity Real Estate Funds consulting group. Michelle holds FINRA Series 7, 22, 63 registrations and is a former CPA.
Michelle is an aspiring chef blending recipes and spices from travels throughout Africa, Europe and Central America. She is a wildlife conservationist who believes we can all live in harmony. To support this cause, she co-owns a safari lodge in South Africa which is home to the Big 5 and one of the leading Rhino preservation programs in Africa. Michelle’s lineage is Tyrolean, Irish and Belgium and from great uncles Mervyn and Warner LeRoy. When not roaming the globe, you will find Michelle on the ski slopes in Park City, running the strand in Manhattan Beach or enjoying beef bourguignon at La Goulue in Palm Beach.
